Details:
This view is from Cerro San Cristóbal – a very tall hill with a funicular on one side, a cable lift on another side and, of course, a church on top.
Note that hills have been made into park space, making for lots of great views from public places.
The mountain backdrop is more visible when it has rained, and cleared out the air pollution, but I was there during a drought – so the mountains are barely visible.
