The view almost due east, looking into the rising sun.
The waterfront areas on the right of this picture are going to be transformed by several major construction projects over the next few years, including the Google-Alphabet high tech city.
Toronto is large and fairly flat. There is no convenient high vantage point for taking a picture of all or most of the city. This picture was taken from the 50th floor balcony of the Manulife Centre, looking mostly south.
